Petals from the Basket

The Sign Now Reads “Open”

Tomorrow’s post will be another “Last Friday of the Month” guest post from my mom, Lorraine Strohbehn. Be sure to check back for another biblically-centered lesson based on a memory from years gone by!

Thankfully, I’m a little extra busy today with some editing and with another new project: Etsy! I’ve been hearing so much about the fun of Etsy that I had to look into it for myself. I did some research and found a lot of good information from “The Selling Sisters,” and encourage you to check out their helpful post about Etsy here.

My love for basket weaving is no secret, so I’m seeking to provide some of my income through a craft I enjoy by selling my baskets on Etsy! I’ve found that, just like I am, many people (men and women) are fans of crocheted dishcloths, so I’ve added crocheted dishcloths into the Etsy shop as well.

The final category of items in my “shop” is THE ORGANIZED BRIDE, the wedding planner I first published in 1994. This hard-copy planner, housed in a 3-ring binder for ease of use, has been used by many brides and mothers of brides through the years.

My Etsy shop may be found at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/PetalsFromTheBasket

I am praying for the provision of some income as well as having this be another means of sharing His Word through this new venue. Therefore, my “shop” carries the same name as this website. Purchasers will be invited to come to the website and follow the inspirational posts here. I would be honored if you would please pray with me regarding both factors that motivate the opening of this shop.

(Remember to stop back by the blog tomorrow for Mom’s guest post!)
