I share this verse often. How could I not? I am overwhelmed by God’s mercy and the fact that He loves me with a never-ending love! I took this picture in 2008 at Lake Erie Metropark near Detroit, Michigan. The peacefulness of the lake in this picture has been a reminder to me often of the moment in which this picture was taken.

Facing the uncertainty of major surgery, I headed out for a walk at Lake Erie Metropark for some quiet time with my Creator. I stopped on this wooden bike bridge/walking bridge to pray silently. It was here that I was reminded of these verses. After my heart cried out a prayerful, “Amen” (“let it be so”), I took this picture to capture the memory and to have a visual reminder of the peace I received in the midst of the unknown. Great is His faithfulness!
